The third major event of the Surfers Paradise Festival 2012 was a double whammy with One Way Street Party and SipFest held simultaneously on a beautiful sunny day. 3vent Productions supplied production management, event production crew and bar staff for this outdoor event.
The Australian Street Entertainment Championships returned in 2012, bringing laughter, cheer and amazement to Gold Coast residents and visitors. 3vent Productions supplied organiser Surfers Paradise Alliance with onsite production crew to assist in set up and stage managing of this 3-day event.
With the original South Brisbane (Logan City) Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon race being cancelled due to wet weather back in April 2012, this venue became the un-official last event of the Weet-Bix Series for 2012. 3vent Productions supplied event staff and assisted organiser X-tri Events in the set-up and running of the event.
In 2012 Hard Rock Rocks the Beach presents Launch It! consisted of 3 days/nights of free concerts featuring cutting edge Australian music including Sneaky Sound System. 3vent Productions supplied organiser Surfers Paradise Alliance with event crew to assist in the set up and running of the 3-day beach concert.
This year’s Opening Ceremony for the Surfers Paradise Festival 2012 consisted of a 1,000+ persons large Lantern Parade through the streets of Surfers. On behalf of and in conjunction with Surfers Paradise Alliance, 3vent Productions organised the Lantern Parade and supplied event crew for the execution of the event.
City Mile Dash is an annual lunchtime corporate speed race created by Cancer Council NSW in 2011. Just under 1400 people took part in the 2012 Sydney race and almost $120,000 was raised. 3vent Productions supplied event crew and assisted organiser X-tri Events in the set up and running of the day.
On Mother’s Day, the Caboolture Regional Aquatic & Leisure Centre on the Sunshine Coast was filled with excited kids and proud parents. The second last event of the Weet-bix series was a great success and 3vent Productions supplied event crew to assist in set-up and activation of the event.
Gold Coast residents and visitors have been wowed by an exhilarating, fast-paced beat performance from the internationally acclaimed US Navy 7th Fleet Band in Cavill Mall, Surfers Paradise. 3vent Productions managed the event on behalf of Surfers Paradise Alliance and supplied event crew to set up stage.
The first ever Gold Coast Bulletin Fun Run was a family festival focused on personal achievement and getting the “healthy body, healthy mind” message out there. Over 2,000 people of all ages and abilities participated in the event and 3vent Productions was contracted to manage the traffic controls for the 10km course.
The 2012 Easter weekend was again a mixture of fun, sun and free kids activities at Surfers Paradise on the 7th and 8th of April. The Surfers Paradise foreshore sprung into life with an exciting selection of events for the whole family to enjoy, combining art, music, shows, games and plenty of chocolate!
