Sun, sand, sea… and Netball! Blessed with 4 days of beautiful weather, according to Netball Australia and a lot of the competitors, Netfest 2012 was the best Netfest event thus far. With 3 times more entries than the 2011 event, this years event was held at 2 Gold Coast locations simultaneously; Surfers Paradise and Mudgeeraba, with Surfers Paradise being the first beach netball competition in the series.
The high energy celebrity beach netball match on Thursday afternoon 25 October drew a fantastic crowd and sent the series off to a flying start. Following were 3 full days of hard core, yet fun-filled, netball in which teams of all divisions battled it out in the sand and on hard courts for a place on stage.

3vent Productions were contracted by Netball Australia to manage the logistical requirements of both locations, including all event infrastructure, sound & lighting, entertainment, signage and medical & security staff.
