The Melbourne Marathon is Australia’s largest running festival with over 35,000 participants. The 2012 Marathon event had the largest number of participants and finishers ever in Australia.
With 5 different distance events throughout Melbourne’s CBD and surrounding suburbs, including full and half marathon, 10km run, 5.7km run and 3km walk, the 2012 event was yet again a great success with beautiful weather conditions. Now in its 35th year, many 1000’s of runners and walkers have participated with the numbers rising each year.
