Hosting the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Event in regional Victoria on the last weekend of February was the historic city of Bendigo; a vibrant contemporary regional centre, boasting beautiful streets created from one of the world’s greatest gold rushes.
The race started with a swim at the Bendigo Aquatic Centre, ahead of a bike ride around local roads and through the Tom Ford Sports Centre Velodrome, followed by a run around the picturesque Queen Elizabeth Oval. We couldn’t have asked for better weather on race day and the 700 enthusiastic participants made the day even brighter.
