The Barrier Draw for one of the biggest horse racing events in Australia, Magic Millions, was a big happening this year. Due to a move in location, Surfers Paradise Alliance has been given the task to present an innovative event concept to bring some life to the normally low key Barrier Draw. Surfers Paradise Alliance contracted 3vent Productions to do just that.
3vent designed a VIP function on the beach in a large structural marquee. VIP guests would be dropped off in BMW’s at the red carpet, whereafter they entered the tent to enjoy a morning of canapes and drinks. To top it all off, there would be a horse race on the beach with 2 of the Magic Millions race hoses
Due to the innovative concept, the event received a decent amount of attention from the media which pleased everyone involved.
