The inaugural Gold Coast version of the event was held over 39 nights, from 26 September until 3 October 2016. The Gold Coast Festival of Lights celebrated Chinese culture through a display of hundreds of beautiful and unique large-scale light installations, live cultural performances, traditional handcrafts and Chinese cuisine. It certainly was a dazzling cultural experience not to be missed and thousands of people flocked through the doors over the weeks to be amazed by this impressive lighting spectacular.
Our Role
3vent Productions was hired to source and manage the food vendors and carnival rides for the event, provided hire equipment such as a mobile PA System, supplied 7 x ticketing staff for 39 nights and a bump-out assistance including a qualified forklift driver.
