The first ever Color Run night came to the Sydney Botanical Gardens and lit up the dark with glow in the dark vibrant colour on Saturday 6th June. The night was clear and the weather was ideal to partake in some colourful fun intertwined with festival vibes, zumba and fitness. Over 6,000 happy runners came and experienced The Color Run revolution and had a cracker of a night. The night event was the first of its kind and is expanding to 3vent’s home turf, Brisbane, early this December.
The 5km course consisted of 4 colour zones, foam station and water zone.
A unique American concept by origin, The Color Run (TCR) is focused on fun instead of performance. It’s all about music, colour and madness as runners make their way through the 5km run, being bombarded with a different colour powder every kilometre to finish into an even bigger colour mania called the Finish Festival. Here, the runners get a chance to drench themselves, and everyone else, in even more colour by throwing their own colour packets around, all the while dancing and singing along to the latest tunes being played on the main stage by a DJ.

Our Role
3vent is contracted by The Color Run to provide quality service and staff that are enthusiastic and pragmatic. Staff roles for include a Course Manager, Registration Manager, Color Zone Manager and a Finish Line Manager.
