On Sunday 18 August, the worlds most colourful race was back on the Gold Coast! The Broadwater Parklands course once again delivered a magnificent backdrop as the Gold Coast stayed true to its name with bright blue skies and clear calm waters. Over 6,000 Color Runners embarked on the colourful course this year celebrating the Happiest 5k On the Planet.
As always 3vent were on hand to blast the runners with over 750kg of colour through 4 assorted colour zones. In addition, there were music zones, a foam zone and water zones to ensure runners were entertained approximatley every 500m along the way.
Queenslanders sure love a party and once the runners were finished what better way to celebrate than to head to main stage and party with giant unicorns!
Our Role
3vent Productions has been contracted to oversee the Course Management of every The Color Run event around Australia (and previously New Zealand) on behalf of The Color Run Australia since 2012.
For the Gold Coast event this role includes:
- Providing a Course Manager to lead all the course staff and volunteers
- Providing a small team of 3vent supervisors to oversee crucial zones and assist in labour force management
- Provide 17 x Gold Coast event crew to asssit in bump-in, bump-out and running of the event operations
