What a great cause to be a part of: Mates4Mates!
An epic paddle-powered voyage up the east coast ended in cheers and beers on Saturday 9 November, as a team of kayaking wounded war veterans finished a three-week journey from Sydney.
To cater to all ages, the Riverside Plaza, off Eagle Street, was activated with free kids activities including face painters, arts & crafts, a jumping castle and a roving magician while the Brave Mates, their supporters and VIP’s and Sponsors enjoyed a luxurious cocktail party at Jellyfish Restaurant.
The Mates4Mates racing yacht, Spirit of Mateship, also made an appearance at the dock and catered for a private river cruise with canapés and champagne for selected VIP’s and sponsors in the late hours of the afternoon.

Our Role
3vent Productions was contracted by Mates4Mates to develop the event concept and manage the onshore and offshore operations of the arrival ceremony which welcomed these Brave Mates to the shores of Brisbane after a tough time at sea. Event management included the organisation of:
