With the average wave measuring 10-12+ FT, Red Bulls Cape Fear is not for the faint-hearted.
After massive storms and a consistent 48 hours of rain, Cape Solander, on Sydney’s most southerly head, lit up for the 16 surfers who were invited to the annual Red Bull Cape Fear challenge. The tow in for these surfers was an incredible 30 minutes – just to illustrate the sheer size of these monster waves!
18 year old Russell Bierke was the winner of this year’s competition.
Our Role
3vent Productions were fortunate enough to be contracted by Red Bull to assist in the delivery of the event by providing experienced staff for bump-in, event days and bump-out.
