Our team got creative again, this time designing a pop-up shop for Christmas hamper sales at the Hyperdome Shopping Centre.
The clients brief was to design and create a visually unique pop-up store in their exiting Market Room area with the purpose to sell gourmet Christmas hampers, consisting of condiments sold by Market Room traders.
Named the Gourmet Grocer, a space of 6.4m x 5m had been made available for this project which would need to function as a point of sales area requiring various display areas and a check-out counter. The store had to be lockable to secure items during closing hours.
The Gourmet Grocer store opened on 1 December 2016 and will be in operation until 24 December 2016.
Our Role
As the Market Room has a slightly rustic vibe, 3vent Productions presented a concept which entailed building a pop-up shop made of pallets. The shop featured shelving along all walls, an angled feature roof, and a movable counter made of pallets. Display hampers were placed in a bed of hay in old cast iron wheel borrows done up with spray paint and a box-tricycle featured as a shop centre piece. Unique wire shopping baskets were ordered from America to add to the shopping experience and the fold-out shop doors featured as a menu board and clipboard hangers on which people could place orders.
The client was absolutely amazed by the result and loved the concept that much that they will now be leaving it in it’s spot for the complete season.
