The annual Computer Software Conference was held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre late October. In addition to the opportunity to feature products and services, a networking session was organised on Tuesday night to allow stand holders and buyers to get up-close and personal with each others offerings.
Our client wanted something different for this networking hour – something which would attract attention! What better way to storm through a networking conference than with Stormtrooper outfits on?!
The networking function engaged the crowd by hosting Star Wars themed games as well as surrounding the audience with a galaxy backdrop and lightsabres. The real-life Stormtrooper were that popular, the audience were facetiming their family so they could get a glimpse of them!
Our Role
3vent Productions was contracted to provide the concept for the Star Wars themed activation, source and organise all equipment, props and outfits. Our team transformed the conference booth for the networking function, including adding a large backdrop, tie fighter props, game show buzzers, and dry bars and stools. Activation staff playing the Stormtroopers were also provided by 3vent.
