The party was on for Melbourne with the second Australian Electric Run hosted at Flemington Race course on the second Saturday in April.
The bump-in for the event was pestered by 3 days of nearly continuous rain but on event night we luckily kept it dry, giving participants the best possible experience.
After a 6:30pm start, runners made their way along a 5k route where music was pumping and lights were dancing, creating an electric wonderland like never seen before. Over 11,000 people walked or ran through distinct “lands” with an epic combination of custom-mixed colours and music to match the mood of the lighting elements.
There were glowing neon trees, laser tunnels creating a rainbow of colours and patterns, glowing arches changing colour in tempo, and much more to keep participants energised and entertained along the route, before finishing at a mind boggling festival of music and lights where everyone got their grove on to DJs mix of the latest tunes.

3vent Productions was contracted to, in conjunction with Electric Run, manage the onsite course operations for the Melbourne event.
