On Easter Sunday (21 April) the City of Gold Coast came together again to celebrate the Christian holiday in style. After selling out at HOTA last year, this year’s Easter United was held at Broadwater Parklands, and best of all it was FREE!
A large stage with big screens and live streaming broadcasted the complete celebrations which started at 2pm with some great local musicians followed by the main worship from 4pm lead by Hillsong Church. A variety of food trucks was onsite to cater to the crowds, which, despite the predictions of rain and thunderstorms, reached nearly 10,000 attendees.
With a range of performances including traditional hymns, Island dancers and a variety of vocalists, the crowd was kept entertained and inspired throughout the show.
Our Role
3vent Productions were contracted to manage the event operations for Easter United on behalf of Easter United. As part of this engagement, we planned, organized and implemented the event, including coordination of all infrastructure, organising event suppliers (i.e. security, cleaning, etc), creating and submitting event plans, providing event staff and managing the onsite event day logistics.
