What would be a better way to wrap up a huge year of events for 3vent then to throw a party for one of our biggest clients?! This year the City of Gold Coast needed some assistance in organising their annual Staff Christmas Party which in always a party to remember. So, on Friday 18 December 2015 approx 1,500 excited employees made their way to the Country Paradise Parklands to unwind after a busy year and get their groove on.
The weather turned up the heat, bringing with it a typical hot, summers afternoon sun. The heat made the flow of icy cold drinks that much more refreshing and went hand in hand with the delicious food that was made available throughout the evening.
The band ‘The Full Stops’ added to the festive vibes of the afternoon, singing some popular songs that got council staff onto the dance floor and into dance mode. Photo booths were a popular attraction and helped to capture the memories of the night.
The event was full of laughter, singing, dancing and festive vibes and was a great way to kick off the Christmas break.
Our Role
3vent was contracted to managed the operational logistics for the event.
For this event our operational role consists of:
Event Planning
- Organisation of all event infrastructure incl. fencing, marquees, staging, bar equipment, etc.
- Organisation of Event Services i.e. security, cleaning staff, waste management
- Sourcing Hospitality Staff
- Creating Siteplans
- Creation of the Runsheets and Event Orders
- Producing all WHS documentation incl. Risk Management Plan, Event Management Plan, Waste Management Plan and the WHS Management System
- Supply of Event Staff
Onsite Operations Management
- Event Setup / Pack Down
- Management of Multiple Bars
- Management of Event and Hospitality staff
- Traffic & Punter Transportation Management
