Gold Coast has set a QLD record for largest citizenship ceremony on Wednesday 21 May 2014. Up to 1200 people from 70 countries crowded into the Southport Broadwater Parklands to officially become Australians by taking the oath from Mayor Tom Tate.
Standard citizenship ceremonies are held often at a small scale however for this occasion Gold Coast City Council had arranged for a great outdoors set up with plenty of room for family and friends of new citizens to witness the celebrations.
Our Role
3vent Productions supplied Gold Coast City Council with event staff to assist in the bump-in and bump-out of the event infrastructure.
